Immigration Law

Teruel’s preferred area of professional practice is Immigration Law. Teruel has also developed a network of contacts in the Latin American countries, India, Serbia, Slovakia, Belize, Jamaica and several countries in Africa to assist in locating foreign trained workers for Canadian employers. He has traveled extensively to assist Canadian employers with the recruiting of foreign workers.

Biography
Teruel is a bilingual (English and Spanish) lawyer who immigrated to Canada in 1975 from Chile. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Concepcion, Chile in 1965 and from the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba in 1990. He was called to the Bar in 1992 and is currently a member of the Law Society of Manitoba.
